Pilot Adventure Origin!
It was Sunday, April 12, 2009 when Pilot Adventure crew was established...
We usually have our weekly volleyball match on Sunday.. but since it was Easter weekend, we did not have any match on that day... We figured out that it will be a perfect day to spend sometime together; to bond our friendship and most importantly to explore new places especially restaurants !! fyi..this crew consists of all food oriented people!! haha..
Here we go.. Six adventurous people, Odri, Andri, Vincent, Leo, Oey and Erwin, went to Tacoma and Olympia area..
Leo who owns a Honda Pilot gave us a ride, from there, we thought Pilot Adventure would be a cool name for our crew.. First, it's because the car itself, Honda Pilot, which brought us together for this trip... Second, we hope that our adventurous trips could serve as a PILOT for other people who need ideas for new restaurants, trip destinations or other adventurous activities.. (was this reasoning quite thoughtful or BS? hahha whatever... :p )
Quick summary about the trip itself...
Tacoma became our next destination... The weather turned to be a little bit sunny... we stopped by downtown Tacoma..enjoying what so called Northwest sunset.. cold-cloudy-orange-purplish-color but pretty sunset :P:P .. exploring Union station and Museum of Glass.. taking so many pictures...next we went to Ruston way known as the Tacoma waterfront... enough with site seeing activities... then we ate dinner at O Bok, a five star Korean restaurant @ Lakewood to end our trip....
Full tummy check.. fun site seeing check... taking so many pictures check... then we called it done.. :) We drove back to Tukwila park&ride with high satisfactions: good food, good friends, good time concluding the origin of Pilot Adventure trip! :)
Next, someone from the food critic side will post more details about the food, right?!! :P:P
